Days in Durham
Hanging out with the Matthews is always a treat. We spend most of our time doing this:
Relaxation is top priority when we get together which is why I find it amazing that we have managed to see quite a bit of Britain during these moments. This last venture south to see Brad and Abi in their new home in Durham included a day trip to York - wandering the old streets in the warm sun, basking in the shadow of the Minster and enjoying a well-timed ice cream cone...Here we are on top of Clifford's tower, outside the walls of the city:
But of course we devoted long hours to reading, eating and chatting with a break in the middle to row down the Weir River and catch a splendid view of Durham Cathedral.
Does life get any better than this?

What a fun time! I'm so glad you guys had a relaxing visit together! I love the hair-braiding pic :) Wish we could just "stop over" and hang out and be tourists, all 6 of us again! Maybe someday! :)
